What is Photoshoot Prep?

Photoshoot prep is somewhat similar to competition prep in many ways, with some difference. The typical dieting time frame will be between 16-20 weeks. The journey may start long before your diet if you don’t have enough tissue to get the look or level of conditioning you are aiming for. Regardless of the timeframe, the entire process is mapped out from start to finish to give you an exact blueprint of what you’ll be doing and the phase you’ll be in across the year.

The difference with photoshoot prep is that you are the one who determines the overall look you want to achieve. That being said, programming can be designed in a manner to bring up body parts you’d like to bring up instead of being locked into training a certain way to fit a chosen class.

The level of conditioning you’d like to achieve often determines how aggressive your prep will be but the check in procedure will become more rigorous as prep goes on. Meaning you will be required to check in multiple times throughout the week as the shoot gets nearer. Inevitable you will have to make some sacrifices to your current lifestyle, no meals off-plan, no missed cardio session or steps and doing everything to your highest possible intensity level.

This process will be one of the most challenging things you have ever done in your life, but arguably more one of the most rewarding once you’ve completed it. We look forward to being beside you every step of the way and helping you get in front of the camera.
